This is the only Mosasaurus known from Kansas and almost certainly represents a new species. Its sharp teeth differentiate it from its known contemporary, Globidens. The nearly complete and virtually distortion-less skeleton has just finished preparation and is approximately 8-9 meters in length (roughly 28 feet).
