Protostega sp. juvenile
$0.00
Protostega is one of the largest turtle genera to have ever existed. This individual appears to be a much smaller species or juvenile individual. This extinct sea turtle appears to be similar to the extant leatherback sea turtle, and probably filled a similar niche. Protostega probably fed on marine invertebrates like jellyfish and small cephalopods as it cruised the Late Cretaceous Western Interior Seaway.
