Istiodactylus latidens
Istiodactylus latidens
$0.00
This moderately large pterosaur from the Early Cretaceous had a fairly long, low snout, with short, broad, laterally compressed, interlocking teeth concentrated at the anterior portion of the snout. This was probably an adaptation for slicing flesh suggesting that Istiodactylus may have specialized in scavenging dinosaur carcasses.
