Terminonaris robusta
Terminonaris robusta
from $3,146.00
The long narrow skull of this marine crocodile is a distinguishing feature of Terminonaris. It likely used this head, shaped much like that of polycotylid plesiosaurs, in the same manner: swiftly biting through the water to catch slippery prey like cephalopods and fish with its sharp slender teeth. These crocodilians inhabited the near-shore waters of the early stages of the Western Interior Seaway.
