Originally found in 1861, this ancient fossil bird is the first discovered from the mesozoic. Its jaws posessed teeth, much like many of its later Cretaceous relatives such as Hesperornis. This restoration is based off of anatomical details of the 12 known Archaeopteryx specimens.
