Confucisornis was an early beaked bird, though it was closely related to the toothed birds Hesperornis and Ichthyornis also found in this catalog. Due to the legal difficulties working with specimens from China, our reconstruction was based off of information gleaned from casts and research papers to construct this 3D representation of an animal otherwise known from flattened 2 dimensional fossil slabs.
