Meniscoessus robustus
$115.00
Produced from the only intact Meniscoessus skull in existence, this ultra-rare specimen was found at the same site as our Pachycephalosaurus- another rare find. Meniscoessus is known almost exclusively from isolated teeth and jaws. Multituberculates like this were the most successful group of mammals ever, making appearances in the fossil record as early as the Early Jurassic up into the Oligocene- a 160 million year time span.
