Bactrosaurus as adults typically grew to around 6 meters (20ft) in length. This juvenile individual is much smaller at just over 2 meters (7ft) in length. Their affinities with lambeosaurines are detectable in their skeletons and dentitions, but crests remain unknown in these Chinese duckbills. These dinosaurs are named for the heavy club-like neural spines on their dorsal and caudal vertebrae.
